We offer Selective Laser Sintering as a Service (SLS-aaS)

Do you have a part, design, or idea that you want to bring to reality?
Fill out the form below.

What is Selective Laser Sintering (SLS)?

Selective Laser Sintering is a cutting-edge additive manufacturing method that uses a laser to fuse, or sinter, powder to create solid parts. Sintering gives objects isotropic strength properties, which means that they are strong in all directions. We, at Hamre Forge, have moved to Selective Laser Sintering in order to quickly provide strong, affordable products to all of our customers.

What can you create with SLS?

Unlike many manufacturing methods, Selective Laser Sintering isn’t limited by odd geometries or layer-induced weaknesses that occur with other additive manufacturing processes. In addition to these inherent advantages, we are able to produce parts using incredible materials such as Carbon Fiber Reinforced Nylon, a polymer with properties and strengths similar to aluminum!

What Materials Are Available?

We specialize in Carbon Fiber Reinforced Nylon, AKA, PA11-CF. Not only is this material extremely tough and durable, finding people with the capability of sintering Carbon Fiber Reinforced Nylon is hard to come by. More and more materials are becoming available for the sintering platform as time goes on. SLS can now produce flexibles, non-conductive surfaces, medical-grade parts, and so on.

The applications are endless.
