LCR
At the time of writing this, we have about 20 orders outstanding, and they’re all for the LCR.
The LCR is the final set of stocks that we are manufacturing on our FDM printers, and not sintering on our industrial SLS machine. The time and labor it takes for every LCR is extensive, which is why we’ve been wanting to produce a 1 piece LCR grip on the SLS.
We’re wrapping up the 1 piece LCR project right now. We’ve been working on the design, test shooting it, and finally have something that really impresses us. We can’t wait to move over to this method of manufacture for one of our most loved products.
Because we’re so close to the release, we have marked our LCR’s out of stock. The remaining orders can/will be filled using our old method of manufacture, unless the outstanding customers reach out and ask me to hold their order and fulfil it with the new 1 piece grip. I will be emailing everyone who has an outstanding LCR order letting them know this as well.
Here’s a preview of the design-
The final product with feature our rough out texture, be more accommodating to speed reloaders, and a one size fits all for LCR and LCRx.
We’re pumped to have the LCR in one piece and on the SLS.
HF Spegels
All the HF Spegel stocks have been caught up. I’m about to mark them in stock, and people will be notified. We have enough on hand to cover the entire notification list, and then some. Chances are, all orders for HF Spegels that come in from now on will ship same day or in 1-3 business days. We’re excited to be at this point in the business where we have things tuned to allow this.
3-Finger Spring Run
We have received numerous requests for something bigger than a boot grip for the J-Frame. It wasn’t until Josh with Offensive Industries reached out, at the right time, where we had the ability to quickly work on a small project such as this. We came up with the following design, which pairs nicely with Josh’s knife-
This set of stocks will be offered in a very limited supply. When they sell out, they sell out, until there’s enough customer feedback to justify another run.
These stocks are a 3 finger design, with speed reload cuts on both panels, a concealed backstrap, and brass hardware. Feedback so far has been good.
Conclusion
That’s it for now, but I would like to take the time to thank everyone for their patience. It’s been a slog to get to where we’re at. The unforeseen issues we experienced were a total pain, but I’m happy we got over that hurdle. There are more fun things coming. We might have a 1911 offering soon, and maybe some other secret projects I can’t talk about yet. Keep following us, and maybe we’ll be able to deliver just the right thing that you’ve always been wanting. And if not, go over to that contact form and let us know what you’ve been looking for.
Regards,
Ryan Hamre
